The PlayStation 3 (PS3) era gave us some of the most iconic titles in gaming history: The Last of Us , Uncharted 3 , Red Dead Redemption , and Metal Gear Solid 4 . For years, emulating these titles was a pipe dream, requiring supercomputers and patience. Thanks to the incredible progress of the RPCS3 emulator , playing PS3 games on PC is now a reality.
However, there is one massive hurdle: A standard PS3 Blu-ray game can range from 15GB to over 50GB. For users with slow internet, limited hard drive space, or older PCs, downloading full-size ISOs is impractical.
