The story follows Colonel Kim Jin-pyo (Song Seung-heon), a decorated war hero and model military officer. On the surface, he has the perfect life: a beautiful but emotionally cold wife (Jo Yeo-jeong) and a prestigious position. However, he is deeply unhappy, haunted by the horrors of war and a loveless marriage.
