As I drifted off to sleep that night, I smiled to myself. I was home, and I was exactly where I was meant to be. The Kun family had become my family, and I was grateful for that. I knew that I would always be a part of them, and they would always be a part of me. And that was a wonderful feeling.
"Hey kiddo, I know it's tough," she said. "But I want you to know that I love you no matter what. You will always have a special place in your heart for your dad, and that's okay. One of the things that I loved about the Kun family was our sense of humor. We loved to laugh and joke around, and we always managed to find the humor in things.
