A Multi-Camera SLAM Framework Using Gaussian Splatting for High-Fidelity Mapping

SLAM System Pipeline

Our method performs real-time SLAM by fusing synchronized inputs from a multi-camera rig into a unified 3D Gaussian map. It first selects keyframes and estimates depth and normal maps for each camera, then jointly optimizes poses and depths via multi-camera bundle adjustment and scale-consistent depth alignment. Refined keyframes are fused into a dense Gaussian map using differentiable rasterization, interleaved with densification and pruning. An optional offline stage further refines camera trajectories and map quality. The system supports RGB inputs, enabling accurate tracking and photorealistic reconstruction.

Analysis of Single-Camera and Multi-Camera System

This experiment on the Waymo Open Dataset (Real World) demonstrates the effectiveness of our Multi-Camera Gaussian Splatting SLAM system. We evaluate the 3D mapping performance using three individual cameras, Front, Front-Left, and Front-Right, and compare these single-camera reconstructions against the Multi-Camera SLAM results.

The comparison highlights that the Multi-Camera SLAM leverages complementary viewpoints, providing more complete and geometrically consistent 3D reconstructions. In contrast, single-camera setups are prone to occlusions and limited fields of view, resulting in incomplete or distorted geometry. Our approach effectively fuses information from all three perspectives, achieving superior scene coverage and depth accuracy.

The early 20th century saw the rise of Hollywood as a major entertainment hub, with studios like Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Universal Pictures dominating the landscape. These studios produced some of the most iconic films of the era, including the works of Charlie Chaplin, Greta Garbo, and James Cagney. The 1920s to 1960s are often referred to as the "Golden Age of Hollywood," with studios churning out classics like Casablanca , The Wizard of Oz , and Singin' in the Rain .

The 1990s and 2000s saw significant changes in the entertainment industry, with the rise of home video, cable television, and digital streaming. Studios like Pixar Animation Studios, DreamWorks Pictures, and Marvel Studios emerged as major forces, producing critically acclaimed and commercially successful films like Toy Story , Shrek , and The Avengers . brazzersexxtra 24 01 29 yasmina khan the bengal top

The 1970s and 1980s saw the emergence of blockbuster films, which revolutionized the way studios approached movie production and marketing. This era was marked by the rise of franchises like Star Wars , Indiana Jones , and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial , which became cultural phenomenons and helped establish studios like Lucasfilm, Amblin Entertainment, and Universal Pictures as major players.
